Creating a ticket can help you request support if you have had any issues with your hosting service in different areas such as technical support, sales, billing, and migration.
How to open a support ticket in the client area from Sered?
Below, you will see how to create support tickets directly from the client area.
Accessing the Client Area
First, you must access the Client Area of Sered using your client username and password.
When you access the Client Area, you will see at the top a blue icon called "Support Tickets". To continue, it is necessary to click on that option as shown in the image below.
Start a Support Ticket
Next, a new window will open where you will find in the upper right corner the "Open ticket" button, to create a new support ticket.
Choose a department to resolve your questions
By clicking on this option, a new window will open, where you will have the possibility to select from the different departments to which your support ticket is addressed. Among them, the following stand out:
Technical Support: with this type of ticket, you can make technical inquiries about any issues with the service.
Sales: it is intended for inquiries focused on products and services of Sered.
Billing: it is related to payment notifications, errors, invoice claims, among other elements.
External Migrations: it is used to request any type of task related to product transfers.

Select the Billing Department
As an example, we will be selecting the Billing option.
Once you click on the Billing option, a pop-up window will open that will provide you with a series of guides from our Knowledge Base that will help you solve the problem. If you find one of them useful, you can click on it to take a look.
If you haven't found any that answers your questions, click on the lower blue button "Thank you, open new ticket", where you can write your question so that our technical team can help you with it later.
Problem Description
Then, a box will appear where you must write the message you want to send to support with the problem you want them to solve. At the top of the screen, you will see the department to which the ticket is addressed, as well as the selected product.
When you add the subject of the ticket, write the message you want to send, and click on "Send", located at the bottom of your screen.
Receive the number of your active ticket
Subsequently, you will see a pop-up window with a confirmation message along with the number of your ticket. If you want to view the details of the ticket you just created, you must click on "Continue", where you will be provided with all the information related to your request.
Verify the sent ticket
When you return to the Home page in the client area, you can check in the top menu under "Support Tickets" the number of pending tickets at that moment.
How to close a support ticket in Sered.net?
If you want to manage your ticket requests, you can click directly on this option and the tickets you have pending will be displayed, with the possibility of canceling them if you wish. Once you click, you will see your newly created support ticket.
If you want to close the ticket, you must click on the one you have previously created and select the Close ticket option.
