How to perform the import of the WordPress installation from Installatron?
In this case, it is necessary to use the import wizard that Installatron includes by default, which will easily help to import an externally installed application. Once WordPress is imported, you can use the advanced options to manage your own application with Installatron.
You will be able to create fully automatic backups via FTP, WebDAV HTTPS, or using Dropbox for later restoration. You can even receive update notifications, schedule automatic updates, plugins and themes, recover the password, or clone the installation if you wish.
Enter the Sered client area
To access your client panel, you must enter the data (first/last name, email address, and password) that is requested.
Access the cPanel panel
Once there, you must go to the “ENTRAR A CPANEL” button and click on it.
Go to the “Installatron Applications Installer” application
Inside cPanel, you need to go to the “Software” section, where you will find “Installatron Applications Installer” and click on it.
Search for the WordPress application
Once you enter Installatron, you must go to “Applications for Content Management Systems” and click on the “WordPress blog” icon.
Import the existing WordPress installation
Directly on the installer page, you must click on the dropdown of the “Install this application” button and click on “Import existing installation.”
Choose the type of WordPress import
Next, select the source of the WordPress installation such as a blog installed on your hosting plan, and from a different account in the case that it is a remote hosting account. In this case, you must import a blog that has been previously installed in the same account.
Add the import location data
Next, you must add the Domain and the Path for the WordPress import location.
The domain and the path you select will represent a URL and therefore a physical path directly associated with your account. To begin the import, you must click Import.
