How to migrate emails to Sered?

How to transfer your email accounts to Sered.net?

Next, we explain how you can easily transfer all your emails to Sered.

Access the Customer Area in Sered

First, you must log into your Sered.net account through the customer area with your email address and password.

Enter the cPanel panel

Once there, you will have to go to "ENTER CPANEL" and click on it.

Look for the "Email" section

When you are inside the cPanel control panel, you must look for the section of "EMAIL", and then go to "MAIL ACCOUNTS".

Create a NEW email account

Then, a new window called "EMAIL ACCOUNTS" will open, where you must look for the blue button "CREATE", which is located on the right side, and click on it.

Now, fill in the required data. To modify some advanced options such as storage space, you must click on "EDIT SETTINGS". When you have everything ready, simply press the "CREATE" button located at the bottom. And in this way, your new email account with Sered will be created.

Go to the "Imapsync" website

Next, you must go to the website "IMAPSYNC" and fill in the requested data. Finally, you need to click on the green button "SYNC OR RESYNC!". Now, you have to wait for the migration to complete.

In this step, you must add the IP that appears in the cPanel control panel, specifically on the left side in the "GENERAL INFORMATION". In this area, you can see the "SHARED IP ADDRESS" field, as shown in the image below.

If you have more email accounts, you must change the email address fields and passwords, while keeping the others. This way, you would have both your website and email accounts transferred.

To have everything ready and have your website working with us, you just need to change the domain's DNS to the ones provided by Sered, which you can find HERE. After changing the DNS, it will take a few hours to propagate correctly for your website to work properly.
