How to Check the Current WordPress Upload Limit?
WordPress will display this information when we upload images or media. To check it, go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Media -> Add New. There, you will be able to see it as shown below:
Increasing the Maximum File Upload Size
To perform this process, we need to log in to cPanel. This can be done either from the client area or by directly entering your cPanel username and password.
Once inside, click as indicated by the arrows below:
Select the domain or subdomain:
Now, modify the two values indicated by the arrows. For example:
If you want the maximum upload limit to be 500 MB, enter
500Min both fields.If you want to set it to 2 GB, enter
2G.
After that, click the "Apply" button.
This way, we will have successfully increased the maximum file upload size in WordPress.
