After installing the SSL certificates, you will need to configure PrestaShop to load with https.
It is important to have SSL deactivated on the website before installing the certificate. This way we will avoid a certificate error and the website won't reload.
Follow the steps we will show you below:
Log in as an administrator in the administration section of your PrestaShop and go to Preferences > Configuration
Click on Please click here to check if your store supports HTTPS. This will verify if you actually have the SSL certificate installed. Once it is verified, proceed to the next step.
Next to Enable SSL on all pages, there is a YES, click on it.
Remember to click on Save changes when finished.
It is important to clear the cache if you had it enabled.
